Blog Post Week 6
This week I was given a new task, which is to calculate sunrise using coordinates and specific times. I worked next to Josh to see if it's possible or get any ideas. I thought about maybe using a widget, an add-on, or creating an application that sounds a lot more exciting. Imagine creating an app just for the Bat-Mon program and able to calculate the sunrise and sunset with coordinates and to get data from different time zones. It will save our history or progress in the app, and we can use it for our database. The only big issue that will take serious time and creating such an app without any clue of what language or code of how to do it is complicated. I wish I can create such ideas without being stuck. I am not the best in coding or creating a database. I will do my best to somehow contribute to the project. In meantime, I will relax in spring break and study for my midterms and tests.
A task like that sounds difficult. I am glad that you had someone like Josh to help you, I have been struggling til Amber helped me. Creating an app like that sounds so cool and beneficial to your project. Sucks an app like hat does not exist. Wish you the best on your project.
ReplyDeleteYou're in luck, David, Maxx, and I have been working on a database for Josh. So far, it’s been coming together relatively smoothly, we’ve gotten over the small hiccups we’ve been having problems with. We made it to where people will fill out a PDF that I created and the code will parse the PDF and pull out all the data inputted by the user and separate it into line of text into an excel sheet.
